Reshoring: An Interview with Harry Moser, Founder, The Reshoring Initiative

American Manufacturing WelderModern Machine Shop Magazine produced this very informative video about he basics of the phenomenon that has come to be known as Reshoring.

The video is a short 7 minutes and fifteen seconds in length, and it packs a lot of good information and insight. Firms engaged in offshore manufacturing in Asia, and are less than 100% satisfied with all elements of the relationship, should consider this advice.

MMS Online summarizes the content as follows:

Harry Moser, founder of the Reshoring Initiative, talks about the total cost of ownership of manufactured goods. Various hidden costs often are not factored in when manufacturing work is sent to a foreign country. When work is brought back to the United States, these hidden costs turn into visible savings. The conversation between Harry Moser and Peter Zelinski was filmed at G & G Manufacturing in Cincinnati, Ohio.
